The weekly Sunday services at Hughenden offer a variety of styles at different times which we hope enables most people to find the most appropriate way for them to worship God.

8:00 am - Holy Communion – this is a quiet, traditional service without music. The Book of Common Prayer is used on the first Sunday of the month, otherwise Common Worship is used.

9:00 am - Choral Communion or Matins – this is a traditional service with choir-led hymns and responses. The communion service uses an order from Common Worship, while Matins uses the text from the Book of Common Prayer.

10:45 am - Family Services - these services are particularly for families and people wanting more contemporary forms of worship and music. The JC Club meets for children and young people during school term time and there is a crèche for babies and toddlers. On the first Sunday of the month there is an All Age Family Service which involves our young people (no JC Club).

When the service is Communion there is an opportunity for people to go to the North Chapel to request prayer for healing or other needs.

6:00 pm - Evensong – this is from the Book of Common Prayer with choir-led responses, psalms and hymns (no sermon).
